Avoiding Purgatory

Assumptions

"Behold, I come quickly: and my reward is with me
to render to every man according to his works."
Reward for Our Works (Rev 22:12-15)

Assumptions

First : Be in a State of Sanctifying Grace, that is, in God's friendship with no mortal sin on your soul.

Second : Strive to love God with all your heart, mind, and strength.

Third : Love your neighbor as He has loved us. Your heart must be humble. Be meek in all that you do. Your humility must mirror our Lord's.

Fourth : Acknowledge our Lord Jesus Christ as the only Son of God the Father. Acknowledge and confess your sinfulness, and seek His Mercy and forgiveness through the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
